I have had trouble with my gas boiler for the last few weeks, I found York Plumbing & Heating (YPH) boiler company on the web and so glad I did, Chris from YPH came around and checked the boiler identifying the problem and got it all sorted out. He was a professional and kept me informed of the issues. I will be getting YPH to service my boiler and Gas fire in the future. YPH is a company I have no hesitation recommending.

Really disappointingly poor customer service from office staff. The plumber who came to quote was professional and seemed very knowledgeable and told me I'd receive a quote within 24 hours and if not to call the office. I've called 3 times on 3 consecutive days now to be told they will chase it, and no one has got back to me yet. When answering the phone they seem very uninterested in their job, and have proven to be quite unhelpful. Unfortunately despite wanting to book for a boiler replacement, I'll not be using this company due to lack of customer service.

Chris, Nick and the team team at York Plumbing & Heating are my go-to plumbers in York. I started using them a few years ago when my boiler broke down just before Christmas and I couldn't believe how speedily they got back to me and Chris essentially saved my Christmas. Since then I get my boiler serviced every year with them and if I ever have a little niggle, they are always quick to advise, or pop around and solve it. More recently Nick came and sorted out a leaking bath very efficiently. They are really lovely people as well, which is great. Highly recommend them.

I've been using YPH for 9 years when they first quoted and fitted my boiler and radiators. Chris has been back every year to do the service and listens to any issues and fixes them. He also fitted Nest Smart system so I can control the temperature from my phone. Just been today for its annual service and as usual great service. Chris and his team installed central heating using Honeywell Home system. They were professional, friendly and reliable. The heating system is great and so easy to use. Being able to programme each radiator individually makes a more comfortable and economical home. Can even control home heating via app when away. Would highly recommend.

What a great service, right from the first enquiry to Nick turning up to fit my new hot water tank. Worked away without any fuss and left having tidied everything away. Nick arrived promptly and was helpful and professional throughout. He fitted a tall bathroom towel radiator, explaining and discussing options with me and going out of his way to make sure the job was right. He was neat and methodical and I'm very happy with the results!

I had an intractable heating system problem in a large old house, which led to years of boiler failure/ problems. When replacement became inevitable, I looked for quotes. Rather than just sell me a new boiler, YPH identified the underlying issue, and proposed a low-cost partial redesign of the system. End result is that the new boiler has dramatically higher efficiency, transforming the house. Good team, highly professional. Not 'cheap', but transparent costing, good value, delivered on budget.

Chris is very knowledgeable and for the first time I felt confident the problem (actually several) would be identified and sorted. He and his colleagues worked hard, were pleasant, professional and the central heating is finally working properly. I am delighted.

Would highly recommend York Plumbing and Heating, due to a boiler fault we were left with no heating, on one of the coldest days this year, Chris the engineer came out the same day and fixed the fault and also fixed a fault on our toilet which we only mentioned in passing. Boiler broke - Called in the morning spoke to a lovely lady who booked me in. Engineer came back after 6:00 to fit the part and get us up and running again literally can not fault anything. Chris then gave us advice on our underfloor heating and it now works perfectly. Great service I would recommend YPH to anyone looking for a reliable company. Again thank you.

We were impressed with the timely way in which Chris came to give a quote for our new boiler. As soon as we accepted the quote, Chris arranged for it to be installed two days later. Paul, who carried out the installation, arrived on time and worked hard all day with barely any time for breaks, to complete the installation within one day. Both men were polite, helpful, friendly and professional. Thank you both of you, as well as thanks to the lady in your office who handled our 'phone calls.

Chris called evening he was contacted, quote arrived next morning, he replaced my boiler when promised. I was impressed how quickly and efficiently the work was carried out, would highly recommend.

After been let down several times by other companies and been at the end of my tether I found YPH online. 1 Call Arranged an appointment. 2. Chris Called round on time ran through some options with me. 3. Quote Arrived by email less than 2 hours later. 4. Called to ask a few questions. 5. Paid a deposit and booked in YPH to install my new boiler. 6.2 Lovely guys installed my boiler it was a pleasure to have them in the home they even fitted me a garden tap. 7.

Job Finished. Over the moon with new boiler and my new Nest smart thermostat. On speaking with Chris I discovered they also fit Kitchens guess what they are doing that next year for me too. From start to Finish York plumbing and Heating were fantastic I really can't rate them high enough for a fantastic job all round.

I would highly recommend using this company. I needed a boiler replacement, I got a great quote on the Monday and the work was completed by the end of the next day. The boiler fitted is perfect for my needs and the engineer who was fitting the boiler was very helpful in showing me the features and there was very little mess. I will use this company again for any other work I may require in the future.

We rang YPH after getting extortionate quotes from other suppliers to replace a back boiler with a new combi boiler. Chris responded immediately to our enquiry and less than 24 hours later we had a visit, quote and a start date. The quote was significantly lower than any other supplier, the installation was carried out to a very high standard and the team who carried out the work were ultra professional and, considering the work they had to carry out and the problems our old house had to throw at them, remained cheerful at all times!

They made very little mess and cleaned up after themselves at every stage. We were so impressed with their work we asked them to continue on and replace 10 radiators at the same time. Best decision we ever made. New shiny boiler and radiators all installed and working perfectly within a week of first contact. We would have no problem in recommending Chris and his team to anyone who wants a professional job at a reasonable price.

Had a conventional boiler replaced with a Worcester-Bosch combination boiler on 12th/13 July 2012. Despite an unforeseen issue, completely out of the hands of YPH, all work was completed to a high standard, on schedule, to quoted price. A clean and tidy job well done by Richard. Have recommended YPH to my niece - says it all!Have had an old Mira shower unit replaced by a new Mira Element shower on the 9th August 2012 by Richard of YPH. Another neat and tidy piece of work to quoted price. That's twice I used YPH now. Do I need to say more?
