I needed a new shower fitting and I didn't want to replace any of my lovely tiles. Paul talked me through the work and possible new equipment and even sourced and collected a replacement, amazing! Andy replaced the new double shower for me and left everything working, spotless and sparkling: it looks fantastic. I needn't have been nervous as work dates and timings for the installation were kept and the end result was far better than I could have hoped at an excellent price.

What a brilliant service. We contacted Paul on Sunday as our boiler packed up on Saturday night and left us with no hot water. A visit was organised for the Monday within an hour of us messaging. Absolutely wonderful service from Paul and his team. Our ancient boiler packed up on a cold Saturday night in early March and we knew it was beyond repair. On Sunday morning we left a message on The Heating Expert's website explaining the situation, and within half an hour Paul phoned us. He was about to go on holiday the following morning, but took all the details, discussed our requirements and requested photos of various things.

Within a couple of hours he had come back to us with a quote for a new boiler which seemed fair and which we were happy to accept. The boiler we wanted was a larger, less common model which was hard to obtain, being out-of-stock at most suppliers. First thing Monday morning Paul was at the airport waiting to fly off on holiday, but he persevered in his search for the right boiler from the airport until he managed to source one, constantly keeping in touch to update us on the situation.

Within a couple of hours his son, Charlie, had disconnected the old boiler and made it safe, then within a few days the old boiler had been removed, the new one was installed by Paul the boiler fitter, the electrics were sorted and we had a warm house again. All The Heating Expert's men were very friendly and helpful. They clearly had a lot of work on and were very busy, but they still fitted us in, working late to get the job done. We were thrilled with their service, and would not hesitate to recommend them to others.

All central heating system valves & radiator replaced, Nest thermostat fitted recently on same day. Just had Paul's team replace a shower screen and 3 tiles. thanks Chris. Panicked text sent to Paul on Thursday as my boiler was making a loud humming noise. It did stop after about 5 minutes but Paul still booked an engineer to come out. Darren came on Monday and changed a few parts and kept me informed throughout the whole job. Very polite and professional. Weve been using paul and Charlie for a few years now for our annual gas safety checks.

Nothing is too much trouble and Charlie has a smile on his face all the time even when he's faced with my two little girls who, at their age like to ask ALOT of questions. 5*

It was time to have my central heating boiler serviced and one again I chose the Heating Expert to do it. I had a smart problem develop between booking my service and the date for it to be done, Paul managed to bring the date forward and so Charlie turned up on time and serviced the boiler but noticed the gas pressure to my house was low and so he called in Cadance who arrived within an hour and promptly sorted the issue. All in all once again a first rate service from the Heating Expert.

One cold November day the heating decided not to work. We phoned Paul early morning who sent his lovely son to check this out. Within an hour Paul's son was here. By 11.30 the heating was working. All nice and warm. So prompt polite and professional. Excellent customer service during repair and post repair. Thank-you so much to both guys

A quick and simple kitchen tap replacement which was performed professionally and with care. The company are a pleasure to deal with and, although the job was relatively small, I was treated in the same way as someone having a new heating system installed. I want to thank everyone at The heating expert. We needed some short notice inspections doing as part of our house sale. Paul and the team came to our rescue and helped us on 4 separate requirements. Life savers!

This is the first time I have used The Heating Expert and am completely satisfied with the excellent service provided. I used the Glow Worm Authorised Installer website to request a quote to service my boiler. Paul was quick off the mark to contact me. We agreed a date and time and Charlie arrived on time to service my boiler. During the service Charlie found that the boiler, which was still under warranty, had a defective gas valve.

Rather than potentially invalidate my warranty Charlie rang Paul and between the 2 of them they contacted Glow Worm ( Vaillant) direct and within 2 days the Glow Worm engineer arrived to replace the defective gas valve and fit a new gasket. I then advised Paul when the warranty work has been completed and arranged for Charlie to return to complete the service. Charlie arrived on time and completed the service in a professional and timely manner.

I am completely satisfied with the work undertaken and the service provided. In fact I have some other plumbing work which needs to be undertaken and have already contacted Paul to complete this work

Outstanding service. We were having a floor fitted and the flooring people discovered a leak beneath the old floor. This needed fixing before the new floor went down, but we only had a couple of hours to do it as the flooring people had to leave. The Heating Expert got someone out to fix it and (fix properly) in an hour and saved us having no floor for weeks while we waited for the flooring people to have a free day to get back. Cannot praise The Heating Expert enough.

I have just had a new boiler installed and would highly recommend Paul and his team. Having not lived in the local area for long I found Paul using a google search and used his company after being impressed with all the reviews. I am so pleased that I found Paul as he was so helpful before having the boiler installed, during and after. His personal service is really what makes the difference. This is a great business and the personal service Paul provides is second to none. He always picks up his phone if available and responds to messages promptly when he is otherwise engaged.I needed to find a reliable firm to carry out an inspection and service of a gas boiler and central heating system ahead of completing a house purchase. The Heating Expert were the first people I called based on the very strong reviews and aside from a quote that I knew to be fair the quality of the conversation with Paul was such that I knew immediately there was little to be gained by looking elsewhere.

The work was carried out on time with some key issues - including the risk of serious electric shock due to previous faulty workmanship by another company - identified. This enabled us to recover the costs of the repairs necessary ahead of completion. Subsequently returned to Paul post completion to arrange for the works to be undertaken and again everything dealt with to a high standard and my complete satisfaction. I highly recommend this firm and will be using them for all of my central heating needs going forward.

An individual of the company came on a recommendation. I have not been disappointed. Have used The Heating Expert for odd plumbing jobs; moving a radiator, moving a gas pipe to the cooker, as well as for boiler servicing - I've never experienced any problems with their reliability or the jobs that they do. We contacted Paul last week after having multiple issues with our kitchen hob. As we both work awkward hours it was proving difficult to find a time when we would be in but he got us in at a convenient time on Saturday. Upon arrival, Justin assessed that there was an issue that they wouldn't be able to address immediately but would return on Monday to finish the job. We now have a working hob less than a week after we contacted the heating expert and less stress in our house!
