I Can't fault how quickly someone came to inspect, and the fault finding took minutes. However one thing I didn't expect was though it took 10 minutes to rectify through a blown fuse, I got charged a whole 1 hour of Labour of 95. I was hoping they would offer a reduced rate in the region of half the price at least, didn't take much time and just used two tools (a volt meter and a screwdriver), the guy was in and out quickly and onto another job so wouldn't have cost them much Labour time themselves. I even got charged for the fuse, least they could have done is thrown that in.

Chris and Angelo were excellent and gave sound clear advice, they were punctual and tidy. They even turned down another visit and advised me to go back to the manufacturer because the repairs would be cheaper. We will be using them again.

I would recommend them to anyone who want's to have a stress-free experience. From first contact it's been a pleasure dealing with them as a Company as well as individual people. All my silly questions were answered and the work was done as agreed and to the highest standard. It's been a year since the work was done, and I would like to thank them for the work they did as well as for the communication side. The work was absolutely fine (professional/tidy.etc) and the labour cost seemed reasonable. No problems with that side but the parts fitted weren't great. Had a shower replaced and ended up putting the old shower head back on because the new one was so tiny. Also had a toilet seat replaced, which we ended up replacing ourselves again the next day because the one they put in felt very cheap and flimsy.

Wouldn't have an issue using them again/recommending them for the work they did but have definitely learned a lesson about buying the fittings ourselves first and just getting them to install them.

Chris attended so quickly as an emergency, which required the urgent replacement of our hot water cylinder. The communication was fantastic and they completed the job so quickly. The work completed was excellent and so professional. Would recommend to everyone!

This filled me with confidence and that confidence was not misplaced. Called this morning as our boiler had broken down and even with their packed day they were here by 2pm and had the boiler up and running again by 3pm... could not recommend their service more!

Chris Shaw always delivers a prompt professional service. Quotes and receipts are all sent via email helping me keep a record of all services and work done. He responds quickly to queries, sends reminders for annual services and arrives on time. He responded to a previous suggestion about advice for less-than-expert homeowners by giving me some helpful tips on how to monitor the performance of my central heating system. Again, I can thoroughly recommend him.

I will definitely use Chris Shaw next time I need a heating engineer, I was really happy today and although it wasn't cheap to sort out my ancient boiler I would rather be confident that the work is of a good professional standard than save a few ££. Not only did he identify the issue within seconds, he located and fitted a new fan really quickly.

He also spotted other issues that had been there (undetected by others) for years and sorted them out with the minimum of fuss. He was cheerful and super polite (even covering his shoes), and explained everything very clearly, making sure that I understood at each stage and was happy for him to proceed . When he had finished he tested everything meticulously and even took the trouble to show me how to set and operate the timer thing.

Last but not least I noticed that not only was he well presented but so was his very clean van. This was very well equipped which inspired confidence. He clearly takes a lot of pride in his work.
