I've used Dutton's several times and have no complaints. The engineers all seem polite and happy to give advice. I have used slightly cheaper companies in the past but Duttons have an office which means the phone gets answered unlike some other companies. They have been in business since the mid 1960s which is reassuring. Service:Water heater repair

Our boiler stopped working. We phoned and asked if they could come and take a look at it, not urgently as weather warm and we have an electric shower. We are also getting a new boiler in a couple months with house extension. Plumber came out within a couple days, adjusted the pressure - said we can use the hot water now but will need additional parts and labour to be fixed properly. Plumber said it would be 60 for that day.
I agreed as thought 60 for temporary fix till we get new boiler I was happy to pay. The hot water lasted less than a day. When we called back we were told the 60 was just for diagnostics, not temporary fix. We were unhappy as they never told us they would charge us for diagnostics, there are no prices reflecting this on their website, and despite leaving us with hot water and then it breaking again the next day, they never offered to come back out and help. I wouldn't trust this company again. We have spent 60 to be told what we already knew.
