Omega Plumbing

I've used this service several times. They are quick and easy to reach. Unfortunately they are not very clear or consistent with pricing and I was extremely confused when I paid 143 for a service I paid 80 for only a few months ago. 143 wasn't extravagant for the service (clearing a clogged bathroom sink with a router) but it was almost double what I paid the time before.

Also the next day after clearing my sink I had a back up in the basement and called a sewer company thinking it was spring roots but it was actually a clog from the bathroom and the Sewer company told me whoever was there last did a sub par job. It cost me another 100 to have that cleared.

I had an urgent ejector pit issue. I called Omega Plumbing, in Joliet, and talked to Bob, the owner. Bob, was extremely helpful in assessing the situation and also very kind, despite the late hour that I called him. Bob was able to get a technician out, first thing, the next morning(we determined that it was fairly urgent but not an immediate emergency). Bill, the technician that arrived, right on time the next morning, was terrific!

He was very knowledgeable, very professional and a great guy to talk to while he was getting the work done. He explained in easy to understand terms, what was going on and what he was going to do to fix the problem. I am so glad I picked Omega plumbing for my plumbing problem. Omega will definitely be my plumbing company from now on.

We have used Omega so far for all our home plumbing needs, from a hot water tank, to a water softener, and just yesterday a new sump pump. Colin is a rockstar for the Channahon/Minooka area. Had Omega over to work on the kitchen and he made quick and proficient work of the following: Installed kitchen faucet, new hot and cold supply lines up to kitchen, all new drainage at duel drain kitchen sink, installed dishwasher drain and wiring, installed a new tap for refrigerator, routed new hose for fridge, rodded sewer/drainage line, installed new garbage disposal, and ensure no leaks whatsoever. Very happy with the work performed.

My sump pump went out the night before and caused a flood in our basement. The very next morning, after calling several companies that said they don't service my area, I was able to schedule a same-day appointment to get the sump pump replaced. Bill was sent to come do the job and he was awesome! He explained everything well and was patient enough to answer all of our questions as they came up. 10/10 would recommend!

We had wanted to replace our kitchen faucet that was leaking for quite some time but with Covid, we had put it off. Then the faucet in our shower was having problems. We called the place we had gone to in the past but after a few days we didn't hear back from them. My husband then decided to call Omega. We had an appointment for the next day. The work was done on time and efficently. The gentleman who came in was very professional and friendly. While no one wants a plumbing issue, if we have one, we will use Omega again.

So he comes in and tells me I have a "terrible problem". He goes back to the shop to grab a heavy machine. He then stuffs it down my pipes to unclog them. Pretty standard. In doing so he bursts my pipe in the basement causing an insane amount of water damage. Which I now have to manage while he runs back to shop again to grab what's needed to fix the pipe he just burst.

Then he tells me my pipe is sheared. Comes back Thursday to dig a big hole. Digs a big hole then tells me there is nothing they can do so they put it without ripping into my concrete and foundation of my house. Which would have cost me an insanely large amount. so instead he put it back the way it was. 3200 dollars later, to unclog a pipe and dig a hole. Well I know what company I'll never use again. I had a basement flooding over the weekend and called Omega. Brandon got to the location quickly, assessed the issue and rectified it quickly to circumvent further water damage. I will definitely be calling Omega in the future.

After both of our water heaters going out Omega Plumbing came to our rescue the very next morning and installed two new ones. They are very reliable and great with communicating! Would 100% recommend Omega for any plumbing needs. Service:Water heater installation
