Called M&S for a total blockage in the kitchen due to putting to much waste in the waste disposal unit. Our heating stopped working on New Year's Eve & we couldn't find a plumber who was available. Richard was recommended by a friend. He came out at short notice despite being extremely busy. We had a new boiler fitted & installed within days. Richard & his team were reliable, professional, respectful, friendly & tidy. Price was very reasonable. We will definitely use them in the future. Highly recommend.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR BOTH PRICE AND QUALITY OF WORK. I got in touch with Richard (via a friend's recommendation) late in the afternoon as I had a leaking hot water pipe dripping water through my kitchen ceiling. Richard identified the source of the problem and isolated it. The repair was carried out when a colleague was available shortly afterwards which was done very neatly and quickly and there have been no problems since.

I then asked Richard to quote on a central heating boiler replacement and the quote was extremely competitive (he carefully explained the exact size/power of boiler that was needed for the size of my house as well as taking into account future improvements such as a shower upgrade). Two colleagues arrived to carry out the installation a few days later (Richard attended periodically and carried out the post installation tests/certification and then registered the boiler for the warranty).

The boiler installation was completed in a day, even after some existing but unknown plumbing and electrical anomalies were encountered as well as replacing the awful plastic piping below the boiler. The improvement in heat and reduction in boiler noise was amazing so that I once again had a warm and comfortable home. The team cleaned up well after the necessary drilling work and, I hope, enjoyed the coffees.

Unfortunately I didn't take a before photo but have included an after one (please note the electrical cabling on the rhs of the photo exists from before I moved in and is not connected in any way with the boiler work). A pleasure to deal with and look forward to working with M&S in the near future.

I'm an anxious customer but after receiving good word-of-mouth references and reading the great reviews on here I felt confident enough to contact him. I'm so glad I did as he was prompt to respond and got here quickly. (( this was on a Bank Holiday too)) Richard sourced the required parts and explained exactly what he could do to solve my problem.

I broke the push button on my toilet this morning. I contacted Richard who came very soon after and fixed the problem. Excellent work and would highly recommend him.

Richard initially responded to a call for a broken down boiler. He was completely honest that I needed a new boiler and unfortunately new radiators as mine were 35 years old. We arranged to be away on holiday for a week whilst the work was carried out as Richard said the work would be very intrusive. I had no qualms about giving Richard access to my home.

He did a wonderful job. The new radiators are so modern and the combi boiler works so well. Richard's prices were very good value. He and his colleague treated my house with care and courtesy despite describing the job as challenging. I have no hesitation whatsoever of recommending him and will definitely be using him for future work

Richard was contacted on Sunday and came to the property on Monday to fix a leaking stop tap. The job proved more awkward as the tap was in a cupboard. Richard had to cut the inside of the cupboard to get to the tap but did a neat job replaced the wood after changing the tap. The job was done to a good standard. I would have no problem in recommending or using M & S plumbing again. Thankyou Richard
