Estimator visited to quote for replacing a standard toilet, sink, shower cabinet and tray. No parts were to be supplied as we have already purchased so was simply replacing what was there. Quote finally arrived and was 2046 inc vat but not disposal. No breakdown was given as to how this figure was arrived at (more than double any other quotes). We went elsewhere as felt this was extortionately overpriced

Wanted standard central heating radiator exchanged for a new chrome towel rail which I'd already purchased. Required pipes to be re-routed from floor to wall. Delighted with job carried out and cost of it. Plumber was extremely patient and helpful with what we needed him to do. Highly recommend this company and would use them again.

Was told my boiler wasn't fixable and would need replaced at a cost of 4000. Had another company come out and they repaired the boiler for 160 and told me that for exactly the same make and model of boiler William Ree had quoted for they could fit for 1500. Disgraceful company, from speaking to other people who have had a similar experience William Ree don't want to fix anything but just charge you extortionate amounts to replace them.

Charged my 78 year old mother 190 for a 70 tap including fitting and VAT. The job took less than I hour to complete. There was no explanation of the charges before purchasing and when she visited the showroom to query it, had to visit three times to be told " there's nothing they can do". The employee she mentioned it to first " forgot " to deal with it. Three 20 mile round trips. Shocking Service.

This company certified a gas installation at my property as safe when it was not. Fortunately I found a heating engineer who was able to highlight and rectify the issues promptly. Regrettably, in prioritising the safety of my tenants and having the installation rectified immediately by another company, Gas Safe's ability to investigate was negated. However, I hope that landlords and businesses will be warned that William Ree & Partners have, in my case, provided a Gas Safety Certificate on a boiler installation that did not meet regulatory requirements (the flue was too short; the gas supply was piped through the meter box, etc.) The company attended my property no less than three times over the course of a year. Invoices were addressed and sent to my tenants, despite repeated requests that they be sent to me, and I was never contacted to explain what work had been done. Invoices contained an amount and itemisation was detailed as: "Goods/Services".
When I contacted the company to raise these concerns, not least that seemingly a significant error had been made in signing off the heating system as 'safe' when it was not, I received a curt written response via email from the owner which effectively denied my statements. In short, my advice is to avoid this firm.
