A true gem of South East London. Wonderful service when I came for replacement kitchen tap valves. The young lad Jack was helpful and jovial in equal measure. Attentive to retail customers just as much as trade customers.

Dealt with them in the past and a second time today, in both cases their price where excessive and they were short on the phone and hung up on me. Wouldn't recommend them!

Clearly only wants to deal with trade customers. A woman on their own or anybody not a qualified plumber is met with appalling attitude and rudeness. Simply plumbing in Downham, much more customer service focused. Take your trade there would be my advice. It's a one star from me.

Excellent selection of plumbing parts for trade and DIY alike. Masks and hand sanitizer available on the trade counter. Notice on the door advises two people at time, although up to 4 people at a time were in there during my visit, proving that some people can't read.

Best plumbing shop with great prices. Have to disagree with reviewer below who says they had poor service as a woman alone -- every time I visit I get great explanations and advice from the salesmen and they're really nice. Gave me a free tap head because mine needed repair and they had one laying around!

They are a proper plumbing shop. Most things that you need on plumbing and I think also tools. But also they do keep other stuff. They do also answer at their phone number. Very Cool customer service from the people there. They do also have knowledge about plumbing.

Sid's is a great plumber's merchant, they seem to always have most of what you want in stock and are very helpful too!

These people were excellent. I have spent hours trying to fix acleaky mixer tap, problems with unfreezing the stop cock and finding a replacement part for the tap. The counter person took the time and effort to sort my problem out. I repeat these people are excellent

Excellent. Very friendly and knowledgeable local plumbing company. Helped me to change the part at the end of my shower hose with no charge. Did in 5 minutes what I had been trying to do for a week and a half. Highly recommended

A rock solid plumbing shop, if you want top quality plumbing supplies at a fraction of the price of b&q this is the place to go. Staff are friendly and always willing to impart a bit of advice.

I love Sid's. It's one of those quirky places that you only get in the outerlying areas of London, but it's full of suprises and some real bargains. Basically one bit of the shop, on one side of the road, is a hardware and plumbing supplies shop, with knowledgeable staff who can help you even if you have only a vague idea of what you need.

On the other side of the road is the showroom, which they'll unlock for you to look around if you ask them, a nd which contains some real upmarket brands. Lovely Boffi baths, some great and innovative bathroom designs. It's all a bit jumbled in there but the stuff is there if you need it. Sometimes they have ex display stuff on offer for a really good price - we got our bathroom sink this way.
