I'm not a plumber or heating engineer, just a guy with a leaky tap. Asked Brett if he could suggest what I needed and he sorted me out with the tap. I asked if he could recommend a plumber? Extortionately overpriced, needed a few grommets for electrical back boxes, but didn't want to have to buy a box of 100 like I had seen at Screwfix for 2.29, mainly as only needed a few and the rest would just go into a drawer for years to come. So anyway, told them I only needed 10 and they wanted 1 for 10, what a rip off. When I questioned the price a rather rude elderly gentleman sitting at the front of the counter said "Go buy them from Screwfix then!" Which due to his attitude I did and the fact I didn't want to pay a 500% markup.

Very knowledgeable staff - a huge step up from the blank looks that greet you in the big DIY centers when asking plumbing questions. Always able to suggest the best way of doing something, and the parts they sell aren't in stock because they are necessarily the cheapest - they are in stock because they are reliable and work - which saves you a lot of time and money in the long term. Recommended.
