AVOID THIS COMPANY. They started off in a seemingly promising manner but quickly vanished once their inflated fee was received despite a number of severe problems with the work they did. The work had to be re-done. An unscrupulous bunch that will overcharge you for shoddy work then disappear. DO NOT TRUST DANNY AND CO WITH WORK ON YOUR HEATING - YOU WILL REGRET IT.

Horrible company! Extremely poorly managed. I called the office several times and they keep saying the owner will call me back but never does. I went over a week without heating or hot water and finally gave up and called another plumber. The owner is terrible at his job and I have no idea how he manages to run a business. Please stay away from this company. Believe the bad reviews, they are correct. Save yourself the hassle and pick a better company. This place is rubbish!

Please save your time and look elsewhere. The engineer insisted that one of our issues did not need attention (a broken stop valve), despite being clearly important. We insisted that it did, but were told it was simply not important as they would fix the broken tap which would resolve the issue. This meant that we were without running water for an extra 2 days since we had to shut off water for the whole flat instead of just the bathroom.
After a second call-out, the tap was 'fixed', but broke again within hours. We're a busy household and didn't have time to deal with this immediately, so called up a few weeks later instead when we had the time and headspace to deal with it. When we did call up to have the issue sorted (being within the '3 month warranty' period), the member of staff was incredibly rude and dismissive, blaming us for breaking the tap.
We were told that there would be a call-out fee charged if they sent an engineer round and they decide the issue was our fault. This is absolutely not a risk we're willing to take. I cannot stress just how rude the staff on the phone were. Incredibly unprofessional interactions and poor service aside, if we were able to break the tap within a month of 'repair', then surely the repair was not adequate in the first place?

Excellent plumbing service from Charlie. Within an hour identified the problem with pressure in my boiler and restored hot water. Explained how to prevent recurrence. Answered my questions on underfloor heating manifold. Unlike other independent contractors explained which parts i need to order instead of wasting my money whilst they're stuck in traffic trying to source those in the middle of the day.

IveI just used MJC Plumbing for the replacement of a boiler. Everyone has been really friendly and professional: the admin staff, the person that gave the quote, the actual plumber. I can't judge the actual job since I'm not a qualified plumber, but the new boiler is working very well for now. If I have to find an issue it would be with the cleaning: there was quite a bit of dirt behind the old boiler left by previous owners and the plumber removed some of it, but it really needed a good scrub. Other than that I'm very happy.

MJC installed a combi boiler for me in 2015 and did a really good job at about half the price quoted by British Gas. Since then they've been back annually for a service, including today when all went smoothly - with the engineer calling ahead of time to check I was in and on arrival he was very polite and thorough. Happy to recommend.

Abysmal customer service, not great at showing up within the timeframe provided (or at all) and don't know how to return a phone call. Clearly the head office is making promises and not passing those on to the actual plumbers. Would not recommend unless you want to spend 4 days arranging a simple visit.

Found them on Checkatrade, where they have great reviews, but since seeing the Watchdog episode on that site I am no longer surprised to find the service was not at all what the reviews promised. This company clearly works VERY hard on their PR. Asked them to do a number of small jobs for me, they spent far too long and failed to fix most of my problems.
When I complained they verbally agreed to reduce the time billed but then did not honour this. They did a botched job on the toilet cistern and had my family not been able to fix it, I would have been without a flushing toilet for weeks. When I refused to pay the exorbitant amount they wanted to charge, they harrassed me for months with threats of court action, before finally filing a claim. In the end I gave in and settled as I was losing sleep over it. As the previous user said, DO NOT use them if you value your money and your sanity!

Had them in for a boiler service, the guy came on time but broke a valve which left me with cold water which he did not inform me about, I found this out later and when I got in touch with the office they said I would have cold water for up to 2 weeks I left them know that this was not on so the guy came back later and got the hot water going, he had an apprentice with him who turned the water off but did not turn it back properly so had a leek in my cupboard.
Then got a invoice in for fixing what they broke and it was going to cost me almost 200 on top of what I had paid for the service. They say they are all about customer service yet I am still waiting over 30 days later to hear back from them. DO NOT use this company they are unprofessional and wouldn't know customer service if it jumped up and bit them on the nose

Emailed in the early hours of the 24th about a leak and had a plumber round at 8am the same day, fixed within the hour. Customer service from Kat in the office was great. In addition I got automated emails and texts to confirm the job prior to the plumber's arrival - very helpful. Matt my plumber was friendly and very efficient. Really pleased, will use this company again for any repairs or work in the future.

Booked for window of 11-2pm. Told I'd get a text 30 mins prior. Chased continuously from 1:30pm they never called back. No text. No courtesy. At 1440 they finally told me he wouldn't be coming. Only apologised when I pointed out that they hadn't done so. Their casual and careless approach meant I wasted my day and was left feeling a lack of any concern for this. Wouldn't use again or recommend.
