The business was formed as a sole trader under the name of Alan Leighton Plumbing in 1981. During the first six months the business developed a strong and growing customer base made up of private clients and a local housing authority. This early success allowed David Leighton, also a time served plumber to join me.
As a business Plumbing has always been one of our core services. Our plumbers have been working throughout Hull, Beverley and the rest of East Yorkshire since 1981, providing a certified, reliable and experienced plumbing service in all aspects of the trade. We had our bath taken out and a new walk in shower/extractor fan/ceiling/flooring/lighting done. The team arrived promptly everyday, gave us regular updates on progress and even trouble shooted things they found done by previous tradesman, to ensure our safety. They tidied up everyday before they left and took away all removed items. They were courteous and very efficient - I would not hesitate to use them again.

Leighton's have recently replaced our old gravity system with a new Ideal Vogue Boiler with a 12 year warranty. The installation included installing TRV's where we had them missing, removing all the old water tanks from the loft and cupboard, installing a small radiator in the cupboard, a new bar shower and also a Nest thermostat. From the very start of the process of Mike visiting us to undertake the survey through to the guys completing the job went very smoothly and finished product is just great.
They've done a great job and we intend to get them back to replace our radiators when the weather improves. The price was very competitive and these guys work extremely hard and almost make the job look easy!

Leightons have installed us a new boiler with a 12 year warranty and new radiators. The old bathroom was dismantled and a new bathroom created in an upstairs bedroom, the old bathroom is now a utility room and toilet. From start to end Mike called regularly to make sure everything was going to plan and that we were happy with it, also keeping in contact with us.
The work done by Dave and Alan was excellent, they're professional and courteous and have done a great job. The price for the work was competitive, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend the firm. P & I McCoy

Very honest as they diagnosed the fault with my heating which was quickly sorted while other plumbers wanted to fit a boiler which was unnecessary and didn't solve the problem.I am a returning customer and they are professional quick in their approach, did a fantastic job in fitting a pressurised water tank, highly recommend.
