I booked an oven installation on behalf of my 81 year old grandmother, a 3rd party company LMR hearing services cane out to complete an installation. 8 months later my grandmother had her boilers serviced and the engineer noticed that there was a gas leak from the poor installation and immediately disconnected the oven. So technically my grandmother has been living with a potentially dangerous for 8 months.
I contacted Able Group earlier today and they only guarantee workmanship for 6 months. therefore unable to assist unless we pay again? A guy named Andy was condescending as he said "after work was completed" he doesn't know what could have happened, I said "c'mon my gran is 81 what could she do to the oven". I have also asked for in writing that they only guarantee their shoddy work for 6 months. low and behold I have nothing yet. AVOID THIS BUSINESS AT ALL COSTS, PAY THE EXTRA AND GET APPLIANCES INSTALLED CORRECTLY AND SAFELY. Disgusting customer

Outstanding service from Able. East to book a plumber and he arrived when he said he would. Courteous customer service operators who were very understanding when I was nervous about giving my card details before doing the job (I have been stung very recently). They let me book the callout and then called after the job had been completed to take payment. The plumber who came was very quick, friendly and professional.

Highly impressed and very happy with Able’s service. From the drama of a blocked kitchen drain to a thorough and hassle-free unblocking service through one easy phone call. Able Group could not have made it any simpler, even though it was a Saturday afternoon, and I had visions of having to wait over the weekend. But no! All sorted in minutes, and all other drains on the property checked (and cleaned, where necessary).

DO NOT USE. Hired a plumber to unblock our sewage, moved the blockage further up the pipe into our neighbours property ( although our section of the pipe was unblocked the entire pipe was not!) more distressing was that raw sewage was left spilling over in our driveway path and all into our garage ruining property inside. We had to call another provider to clear the drain and the mess and then spent 2 hours cleanening it ourselves, paid 150 for this shocking service.
Our house stank of sewage and with a baby inside this was highly distressing and unsanitary. Called 5 times and was told a manager would contact us, no call back, no apologies no refund.i don't know if the service from the plumber or the company was worse but Save your time and money and hire professionals from elsewhere

So what do I feel about Able Group? Well I was able to get an appointment for a boiler service and subsequent repair on a Saturday which is very helpful and convenient being a temporary worker because if I don't work I don't get paid. Engineer very pleasant. He showed me the leak in the boiler and it definitely needed repair. I would have liked a quote in writing from Able and a written appointment confirmation.
Expensive I felt and I had to chase the call centre up for the over the telephone quote. Will probably get my boiler serviced by the manufacturer Vaillant next year to be on the safe side. I felt this company were quite pricey to the point they wouldn't be my first choice again.
