We are Heating & Plumbing Engineers registered with HETAS, Gas Safe and with the APHC. We have regular inspections and are fully insured and equipped to carry out any type of solid fuel, oil and gas work. We can install any type of flue including the CICO BBA approved refractory cement lining system; this is especially useful in poor condition or problematic chimneys.
CICO undertake a survey of your chimney without obligation and provide a written quotation. A toughened rubber former is passed down the flue, inflated and correctly positioned using the openings. The inflated size of the former is adjusted to suit the heating appliance or fireplace. Every crack, joint and void is permanently sealed.
It is essential that you burn well seasoned wood in order to get the best results from your stove/cooker, ideally wood should have a moisture content of 20% or less. Freshly harvested wood will naturally contain a high volume of water and will therefore need to be seasoned before it can be used in our appliances.

Turned up at 2.45 to have a look at fireplaces, lady closing the door with a note on saying closed from 3 wouldn't let me look and when I complained that it said nothing on the website and it was still only 2.45 became quite aggressive with me and came right up to the drivers window to confront me ( 2 Meters distancing totally ignored ) I drove off as didn't want to argue with her. Won't go back! Very poor.
