We had a number of unacceptable issues with our meal. Our salsa contained a whole plum tomato, which was almost the size of the salsa dish. The salsa was delivered to another table abd then when the mixup was noticed, removed from that table and set on ours. When our meals finally came, due to the kitchen being an absolute disaster (I noticed a cook cursing at a food runner while waiting for the restroom), our tortillas were not grilled but just coated (dripping) in oil and warmed.
The beans tasted like unsalted beans in water. For the price of the meal ($101 before tip for two with one cocktail each), I would not recommend to anyone. The biggest disappointment in our trip. Our server, Drew, was exceptional. Thank you, Drew. When the kitchen staff for the season figures out their stuff, perhaps it'll be a great experience.

We went to Spindlers on May 15th, expecting to have a fish dinner like we've had in the past. We we're surprised that they now have a new menu with a Mexican theme. The three dinners we ordered were all excellent. They included halibut, fajitas and shrimp servings. Best dinner we had anywhere in a while. I'd highly recommend you give it a try.

When we came in it was empty. Sat at the bar. The bartender was clearly also bar tending for the entire restaurant. We waited 10 min for drinks (no biggie, as he was clearly busy). Mind, not another soul in the bar. We're asked to move down for a party of 4. Cool. We order food. Appetizers. Guac, chips, and beans. The party of 4 comes in. Then two tables of 4.
Still no food. Which, hey, Covid. Maybe short staffed. I get it. After about 40 min after ordering, the party of 4 at the bar and a table get their appetizers. Hot. Still no guac. Seriously? So we cancel the food. No apologies. No nothing. Just says that our cold beans were the delay. Talk to us. Bring the guac and say the beans are taking the time (but let's be real, someone forgot to drop the ticket). So, in short, took nearly an hour in a dead place, first in, to get guac and chips. And 0 concern by anyone. So, 0 concern given by me.

I'm giving this place 2 stars. I had the spaghetti and meatballs and my husband the vegetable lasagna. The meatballs were still a bit raw inside and everyone at my table agreed the sauce tasted like Chef Boyardee. It had a similar taste. The pasta was overcooked and the waitress eventually brought me another plate of meatballs. The bread was good, the wine glass could have been filled more for $14 a glass, but the service was good. I wouldn't come back here unless there's isn't anything else opened in the winter.

The food and drinks weren't bad. What I'm upset about is my order. I ordered the steak frites, which came either with a red chili bearnaise sauce or a jalapeno chimichurri. I chose the chimichurri. What came out was steak covered with a white sauce and red powder. Chimichurri is typically green, and so is jalapeno. After I tasted it and asked the waiter, he said the chimichurri was in the white sauce. It clearly was not. I didn't want to start drama, so I went along with it, but I don't like being deceived like that.

This food was delectable! I got duck, and a variety I of options were served to our table from duck panzanella, pork tenderloin, and jumbo shrimp! Starters included a spicy and flavorful patatas brevas and bruschetta and rich poached pear.none were a disappointment and the plates were clean when we were through with them. The cocktails were on point, from a round of Aviation to Elderflower.
And to top it off, we ordered the key lime pie, house made peanutbutter cheesecake, and chocolate lava cake. The peanut butter cheesecake was a personal favorite and as someone that loves cheese cake, fair warning that its on the sweeter and softer side (as opposed to richer and thicker). The key lime pie was more tart than sweet, and the chocolate cake was served with ice cream and was spot on! Finally, we closed the evenings with a roubd of coffees, which was all delicious and kept us going long into the evening. If you're in Ptown, you won't be dissapointed to enjoy a meal here!

Amazing ambiance, really relaxing and classy, and delicious inventive food! We sat on the top level, and had a long relaxing dinner with a lot of people watching. The wines were terrific, and as for food, we ordered a whole bunch of small bites to share. Our favorite was the lobster bisque, as well as the peach buratta. The swordfish and hummus plates were also terrific. The service was wonderful and the food came out at the right times. For dessert, we got the tiramisu, which was incredible!
